My Philosophy

My philosophy as a therapist is deeply rooted in honouring the client in front of me as a unique human being. Rather than focusing on labels or diagnoses, I like to meet individuals where they are and what they are going through, recognising that what they are experiencing does not define who they are.
Having spent over ten years working deeply through my own challenges - anxiety, panic attacks, and what some may refer to as ADHD, addiction, and an eating disorder, I’ve learned the power we all have inside to heal. Through thousands of hours of self-exploration and meditation, supported by loved ones and therapists, I discovered that we all have this innate wisdom to navigate and overcome our life obstacles. With support that felt nurturing and accepting for all that I am, I was able to access that inner strength, and I strongly believe that everyone holds this same potential.
My life’s work is built on creating a space where others can feel free to be themselves, expand their awareness, and unlock their innate power. Whether I’m working with adults or teens, I love to create a collaborative space filled with connection, compassion, and curiosity, where you feel supported to explore life’s challenges and find your own path forward.
As a qualified Holistic Counsellor and Meditation therapist (IICT), and soon to be Psychotherapist (PACFA/ACA), I am particularly devoted to the areas of chronic stress, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationships, and personal & spiritual growth. My goal is to create a safe container where you can heal from the root, develop a strong internal compass, and feel truly empowered and in control of your life.

THREE Things to Know About Me:

1. Clients are not a number to me. I only take on a certain number of clients at one time for the sole purpose of giving each individual the energy and commitment they need and deserve.

2. You have my undivided attention. I arrange my schedule so that I can give you the quality time that you truly need and deserve. I also provide ongoing support outside of sessions so that you never feel disconnected or cut-off.

3. Collaboration is my mantra.  True counselling & psychotherapy means working WITH each other and growing together. I recognise that you are the expert of YOU, but navigating the journey doesn't have to be a lonely experience.

Why Mind Habitat Exists

When it comes to being human, we seem to have gotten it ALL wrong. We’re a society that’s obsessed with labelling, diagnosing and medicating. Yet, very few people feel how they truly want to feel.

We’ve been taught to numb the bad and feel the good, even though deep down, our root issues remain the same.

Society wants people to be present, but insists that they multitask...

We maintain that people should feel good all the time and if they don’t, then we assume there must be something wrong with them.

We claim that everyone should stay connected to each other, but don’t teach anyone how to connect with themselves.

We don’t educate kids on the impacts of stress, trauma and overstimulation... And so we never truly know or learn about ourselves at all.

And it’s no wonder so many of us struggle. How can we possibly thrive in a world like that?

The truth is, there is nothing wrong with you and you there is nothing to be fixed. Deep down you intrinsically KNOW what is best for you but most of the time it just gets lost along the way. It's more important than ever to follow your intuition and to know that you are actually making your own choices in life.

Where a lot of help often takes you AWAY from your inner-knowing, I want to help you move towards it. In order to do this I am just there to provide you with a safe space and to give you the guidance and support that you need so you can heal and discover what you're truly capable of in life.

At the root, Mind Habitat exists to help you cultivate personal power which medication and other forms of help rarely do. Many easily accessible help environments can leave you feeling like a number. You’re often in and out without ever really feeling heard or understood. At Mind Habitat, it’s my personal mission to provide you with the quality time you need and deserve.

I only take on a certain number of clients at a time with the sole reason of giving you the time and energy that you need whilst working on your personal goals.

There is no ceiling to what you are capable of in life. This is why Mind Habitat constantly adjusts to supports your needs and goals so that you can experience greater levels of freedom, fulfilment and success.
